A Joel Delorme knife refurb - Finished!

This is now complete. The handle is Spalted Birch with two stainless steel Corby bolts holding the handle on.

I love the pattern in the handle from the spalting and it matches from side to side really well.

 

I think the sheath deserves a few pictures. This was made by Joel and I really like it. (One to add to the to-do list!) It has two carry options - horizontal or vertical (slightly angled)

Edit:

It was requested that the sheath was made tighter as previously tyhe knife had a tendency to slip out.
I wet formed the sheath around the profile of the handle so the leather gripped round the contours.

For Sale: Modified Benchmade 190 in Yellow G10 & Carbon Fibre

This is for sale at £60

This started life as a Benchmade 190 in 440C steel but was modified to remove the finger guard, smooth the handle curves and remove the jimping from the spine.

The new handle is made from stacked Yellow G10 and Carbon Fibre. The pins are stainless steel.

£60, no sheath but one came be made in leather at an additional cost.
