I haven't blogged in a while. I don't really know why but I haven't been able to get in the right frame of mind. A bit frazzled recently.

So a couple of things are getting me re-inspired!

- I've wanted a tumbler for a long time. It's been in my head a long time: Tumbler design
I'm now almost ready to get one running. I don't cycle to work anymore so the last idea is redundant, however I did have an idea to combine my lathe with a mortar storage tube!

I was given some ceramic media last week (thanks Kev!) and just need to make some fixing plates to hold it in the lathe - I have done a quick run without anything in it and it should work!!

 - A couple of new leather stamps. This one was just to fill space on the board but makes me smile. Simple things!

- A hunter. This is actually a replacement for a knife that got stolen before it was complete. I couldn't bring myself to do another version of the original as I always struggle to re-do a piece in that way. I eventually settled on this design, which isn't mine - I'll post more about the story of it a bit later on.

- A couple of sheaths - came across my billhook sheath that just needed stitching and a bit of finishing and another that I decided on a simple stamp pattern (eventually!)
